Metro’s low-profile design maximises visibility of the surrounding built environment, making it ideal for open public spaces such as airports, train stations and transport hubs. Crafted from durable materials and finished in a natural colour palette, Metro combines long-lasting strength with a contemporary aesthetic that complements any architectural setting. We have recently added a laminate finish to the range which is suitable for exterior use.
Select from our range of standard modules to create a bespoke configuration perfectly tailored to fit your space. Designed for longevity, you can easily reconfigure seating runs to match your changing needs. All components are simple to remove and replace maximising Metro’s life span.
Straight
Linear modules are available in standard lengths and bespoke sizes. They can be used to form part of a larger configuration or as individual benches.
Long Curve
Available as a concave or convex unit, use this module as part of a larger run or combine multiples to create circular island units.
Short Curve
Available as a concave or convex unit, use this module as part of a larger run or combine multiples to create circular island units.
Straight Bench
A bi-directional bench available in standard lengths and bespoke sizes. Ideal for use on platforms and concourses.
Long Curve Bench
Available in in convex and concave formats. The subtle curve makes it easy to create dynamic seating runs that flow within the built environment.
Short Curve Bench
Use the short curve bench to make tighter turns in your seating run. Mix concave and convex formats to create dynamic layouts.
Once Metro has been configured to perfectly fit your environment, select from a range of modular accessories to further enhance the user experience. Arm rests and power charging help to create more welcoming spaces that encourage relaxation and wellbeing.
Arm
Standard seat slats can be replaced with a dual-purpose arm and worksurface. This can be specified at order or retrofitted to suit future needs.
Power
Integrated charging modules can be positioned on armrests, discreet wiring is routed through the frame.
Wireless Charging
Positioned under the armrest, wireless charging modules provide the user with a simple way to charge on the go.

Backed by OMK’s industry-leading 25-year structural warranty, Metro offers long-term durability, low-maintenance performance and complete peace of mind for airports, train stations and transport hubs.
- Guaranteed against structural failure for a minimum of 25 years.
- Metal components are finished for interior use, and are UV stable.
- All metalwork can be coloured to any RAL colour (project size dependant).
- Fabricated from 90% recycled steel.
- Pre-phosphate coated and finished in oven-baked polyester powder.
- Coating thickness no less than 80 microns.
- Flame retardant to BS 5852: 1990 (source 0, 1 and 5) and BS 476 part 7 class 1.
- Suitable for interior use as standard and exterior use on request .
- 15mm birch ply construction.
- Doubled sided Grade A decorative veneer finishes.
- Finished in polyurethane lacquer as standard (Other coatings on request)
- Flame retardant to BS 5852: 1990 (source 0, 1 and 5) and BS 476 part 7 class 1.
